A Message from the Camp Director
Welcome to Presbytery Point Camp!
Thank you for considering Presbytery Point as part of your summer adventure. Whether you are joining us for the very first time or returning to a place you have loved for years, we are excited to welcome you.
Nestled in the beautiful forests along the shores of Lake Michigamme, one of Michigan's largest inland lakes, Presbytery Point offers more than just time away from home. It is a place where God's creation invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, build lasting friendships, discover new adventures, and grow in our faith together.
Our mission is simple: Presbytery Point Camp exists to brings people together, to learn and grow in the beauty of God's creation, by reaching out and welcoming all to join together in faith, fellowship, and recreation. Every part of camp life, from morning devotions and worship to games, waterfront activities, campfires, and shared meals, is designed to help campers experience God's love while building meaningful relationships with one another.
In a world filled with constant notifications, busy schedules, and endless screen time, camp offers something increasingly rare: the opportunity to unplug and reconnect. Here, campers can connect with God through creation, connect with one another through authentic friendships, and discover the joy that comes from simply being present. We believe some of life's greatest lessons are learned around a campfire, paddling across a quiet lake, spending time in the woods, sharing a meal, or sitting beneath a sky full of stars.
Our prayer is that every camper who arrives at Presbytery Point feels safe, welcomed, valued, and loved. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to providing a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment where campers can grow in faith, develop confidence, serve others, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you for considering Presbytery Point and for allowing us the privilege of being part of your family's summer. We look forward to seeing you at Presbytery Point!
