Mission Trips
Presbytery Point Camp welcomes any adult or youth group that is interested in mission work at our camp, in our nearby churches or community. There are many opportunities to give of your time and talents. Mission trips can be arranged by contacting our camp manager, Caron Christopherson, at (906)869-0925 or by email at ppccc@presbyterypoint.org.
Mission projects completed at camp in 2011:
- sanded and refinished the floor in our 100 year old Fellowship Lodge.
- renovations to Manager's Cabin
- restored sand surface on volleyball court
- built a shed for recycling storage
- planted trees
- phase two of new room in Fellowship Lodge
Potential mission projects for 2012:
- complete staining of Gieser, Hamel and McConaughy cabins
- plant a small vegetable garden for campers to tend
- clear brush/growth from foundation at Outpost Camp
- maintenance work on Paddle Inn structure
- re-roof Gieser cabin
- natural landscaping near parking area, dining hall
